Winter is here and it can be tricky to keep your weim fulfilled and exercised during cold snaps so here are a few ideas of what we do.
Our weims love a food scatter in the snow on the days that are not so cold. Anything -5 and above our weims handle being outside for about 15-20 minutes at a time and have fun hunting for their food. We also love to play some fetch with snowballs and get them to catch snow in the air! Sniffari walks on new trails in the snow are great for them too as there are so many new smells and sounds in the snow. Let them slow down and take it all in!
Cold winter days are perfect for learning new skills and practicing skills in new areas & places!
