Happenings at NorthStar ~ January 2018

Everyone has been very busy this year and lots has happened. This past weekend it was 1 year since we moved up to Salmon Arm and it has been an amazing year!
We are training our newest male Clyff and are having a ton of fun with him. He has such a fun-loving personality and is very toy driven which makes training and playing a blast. Our 6 year old daughter has taken a liking to training as well and competed in her first Junior Handling competition in July of 2017. She was happy to be able to use Wren, a black poodle, for the competition and we hope she will show up in the ring with a weim soon. Rose and Willow are loving all the new things we are teaching them too and we are having a lot of fun! Agility has been an interest of ours as well and at the end of 2017 we completed a class with Clyff. Now we are working on setting up our own equipment so everyone can learn. Even Romeo will have fun with that! It is such a confidence booster. In the Fall we took a weight pulling class with Willow and Clyff and were working towards having them pull our kids on a sled. Willow decided to change plans and is now in labor with a beautiful litter so we put the pulling on hold.

We will have puppies ready to go to new homes in March and are not quite sure what our Fall will look like in terms of puppies but touch base with us and we'd love to see if we would be a good fit and if we can get you a puppy.

Take care and enjoy all the pictures! As always if you have a pup from us we would love to see how they are doing.
